Our team has been crafted by the needs and wants of our clients. The founder is a former restaurant owner and current CFP® who values service above all else. We also have a former CPA that understands the importance of tax planning and a former PGA pro that serves as an example of the link between finance and golf. Having a team allows us to focus on service and communication, which results in better investments and financial planning. We believe in relationships and have built our team to get you to AND through retirement.

Born and raised in in Sumter, South Carolina, Albert attended the Honors College of Florida State University. Following his graduation, he returned to Columbia where he owned and operated multiple successful businesses. 
After leaving the restaurant business, Albert joined Merrill Lynch where he was on a team that managed over $3 billion. He was recognized as one of the top new advisors in the country before starting his own firm. His entrepreneurial experience has taught him to focus on service above all else when advising his clients. 
Albert now lives in Wake Forest, NC and is married to Donna with 2 teenage boys, Owen and Nolan. He enjoys traveling, eating, golfing, and watching his boys play baseball.

With more than three decades in the financial services industry as well as a former practicing CPA, Michael’s primary focus is helping individuals and business owners grow, preserve and tax efficiently distribute their retirement assets. Michael’s extensive experience in public speaking has sharpened his ability to communicate effectively with clients in an easy to understand conversational style.
Michael lives in Pinehurst with his two hounds, Ralphie and Bella, and is an avid golfer. Michael enjoys classic cars, classic rock and the History Channel. He has also been a major fund raiser for the Tisch Multiple Sclerosis Research Center of New York over the past decade.

As a former professional golfer, Brian learned the art of "course management" to navigate his way around the golf course regardless of conditions.  Brian has taken this skill and discipline off the course and applied them to his financial practice, helping clients work towards their goals, regardless of personal or market related obstacles.  
In addition to assisting individuals, Brian works with companies on implementing and managing their retirement plans from open enrollment to ongoing education meetings with participants.
Brian graduated with a Bachelor's of Business Administration and Economics from Campbell University.  He resides in the Charlotte area with his wife, Michele, and their blended family of five children in their home which they are renovating themselves.  In addition to playing golf, Brian enjoys fishing, woodworking, and taking day trips to the mountains to explore.

With a background spanning the U.S. Marine Corps, 20 years as a Benedictine monk, and nearly a decade in asset management, Doug helps clients align their wealth with their values. He is dedicated to understanding each client's unique relationship with money and guiding them toward decisions that serve their long-term well-being.
Doug is the author of two books published by HarperCollins: From Monk to Money Manager: A Former Monk's Financial Guide to Becoming a Little Bit Wealthy—and Why That's Okay and Taming Your Money Monster: Nine Paths To Money Mastery With The Enneagram. His insights have been featured in The New York Times, CNBC, MarketWatch, and Investopedia. His TEDx talk, "How Monastic Wisdom Can Help Your Finances," has been viewed more than 370,000 times, and he has appeared on more than 75 podcasts.
Prior to joining Course Management, Doug was a Partner at LongView Asset Management in Santa Fe. Earlier in his career, Doug led the mathematics department at Santa Fe Preparatory School while living in a monastic community. He holds a B.A. from St. John's College, the "Great Books School." 
Doug lives in Pinehurst, North Carolina, and is an active member of the community.

Kamryn was born in Pinehurst and raised in Sanford, North Carolina. A three-sport athlete in volleyball, softball, and basketball, she was twice named Female Athlete of the Year in high school. In 2019, she placed 6th nationally in Mobile Robotics and spent four years in her high school’s Academy of Finance, where she discovered her passion for helping others plan for long-term success.
She earned a degree in Integrated Health Science from Western Carolina University and pursued coursework in entrepreneurship and investing. Outside of work, Kamryn enjoys golf and playing the guitar. Sometimes you’ll find her on the beverage cart at Pinehurst #8, carefully managing liquid assets.
